CalmyList is developed and published by Drew Fisher Apps. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the CalmyList mobile application.
CalmyList may store the following information on your device:
This local information remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app's storage, or uninstall CalmyList. Your operating-system or backup provider may include local app data in a device backup if you enabled that service.
If you choose Send a copy, Android sends the text you selected to the destination app or service you choose. That destination handles the information under its own terms and privacy policy. Drew Fisher Apps does not receive a copy through this feature.
If you deliberately choose Edit together, CalmyList uses Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore, services provided by Google, to make the selected list available to people who have its share code.
The following information is then transmitted and stored online:
CalmyList does not ask Firebase for your name, email address, password, or phone number. Firebase Authentication may process technical information, including IP addresses and user-agent information, to provide security and prevent abuse. Google processes Firebase information according to its applicable terms and privacy documentation.
Anyone who possesses a valid share code can join the corresponding list and view or change its contents. Treat a share code like a private link and share it only with people you trust. Participants should not put personal, financial, health, or other sensitive information in a shared list.
Before creating or joining a collaborative list, users must accept the shared-list usage rules. Users must not add illegal, threatening, hateful, sexual, or otherwise objectionable content.
A participant can report and leave a shared list. A report stores the shared-list identifier, anonymous reporter and owner identifiers, the report reason, and a timestamp. Drew Fisher Apps may review the reported list where reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, enforce the usage rules, protect users, or comply with law. Reports are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes.
A collaborative list is stored until its owner chooses Stop sharing or Drew Fisher Apps removes it for a valid safety or legal reason. Stopping sharing removes the online list, share code, and membership records. The owner's current local copy remains on their device.
A participant can choose Leave shared list. This removes their online membership while keeping the current contents as a local copy. If a participant reports a list, it is also blocked on that device. If you lose access before stopping a shared list, contact Drew Fisher Apps and include the share code so the deletion request can be investigated.
CalmyList may display banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process information for advertising, ad measurement, analytics, security, and fraud prevention. This may include IP-derived general location, app and ad interactions, diagnostics, and device or advertising identifiers.
Depending on your location and consent choices, Google may show personalized, non-personalized, or limited advertisements. Drew Fisher Apps may receive aggregated advertising reports, but does not receive your complete advertising profile.
Where required, CalmyList uses Google's consent-management platform before loading advertisements. When Google requires it, the app's privacy menu lets you reopen the privacy form and change your advertising choices.
CalmyList may offer an optional one-time purchase to remove advertisements. Google Play processes the purchase. Drew Fisher Apps does not receive or store your complete payment-card or banking details. The app receives only the purchase-status information needed to activate or restore the feature.
Drew Fisher Apps does not sell shopping-list content or personal information. Information may be processed by Google as a service provider for Firebase, advertisements, consent management, fraud prevention, or Google Play purchases. Shared-list content is disclosed to participants at the user's direction through the share-code feature.
Cloud Firestore access is protected with anonymous authentication, unguessable share codes, and security rules that restrict a list to its members. Information is encrypted in transit. No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
CalmyList is a general-audience shopping-list application and is not specifically directed to children. Drew Fisher Apps does not knowingly ask children for names, email addresses, or other directly identifying information through CalmyList. Shared-list users must follow the usage rules described above.
Google may process Firebase, advertising, consent, diagnostic, and purchase-related information in countries other than your own. Such processing is governed by Google's terms and applicable data-protection safeguards.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to personal information, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection. Use the in-app controls described above or contact Drew Fisher Apps for a request that cannot be completed in the app.
This policy may be updated when CalmyList's features, service providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date will be updated when changes are published.
